EVENT: FOODIES_ REDOING OLD POSTS #44 RECIPE: TOMATO CHEDDAR BREAD Tomato Cheddar Bread Tomato Cheddar Bread baked with tomato paste, cheese, spices and herbs is simply a flavourful and delicious bread. Enjoy with some soup or use it to make sandwiches. Generally Tomato Cheddar Bread is made by adding sun dried tomatoes and cheddar to the bread dough. However, the one I make is different. I add very thick tomato paste (Cirio gives good flavour), to the dough along with cheddar cheese and a few spices and herbs. The overall result is simply delicious.   Trial And Error The first time I baked Tomato Cheddar Bread it was a total disaster! The dough became too soft and unmanageable. Had to pat it in a baking…

  • Eggless Banana Walnut Bread

    November 20, 2012mayurisjikoni

Recipe: Eggless Banana Walnut Bread Eggless Banana Walnut Bread is so easy to make and an excellent way to use up over ripe bananas. Besides that, the eggless version turns out super soft just like the one with eggs. I bake banana bread often as I can make it slightly different every time. Changes the nuts, add other dry fruits like raisins, cranberries, blueberries. Skip chocolate chips or add more. Add some cocoa powder to the batter.   A Bit About Eggless Banana Walnut Bread An easy peasy recipe, it is all about mixing the wet and dry ingredients and baking it. EVENT: FOODIES_ REDOING OLD POSTS #31 Recipe: Sourdough Calzone Sourdough Calzone is a crusty, delish, oven baked, folded pizza. Add any stuffing of your choice. Make them small to enjoy as a sandwich or bake a big one to enjoy as a main meal with some salad. Updated on 07/08/2020 I must admit that when I first made calzone at home it was as flat as a pancake. Though the taste was amazing, the single click and how a calzone should look was just off scale…completely off scale. Amazing, how over years we tend to learn how to hone our techniques and methods. Admittedly, for this post I’ve not only changed the photo but altered the recipe as for sure this is much better than…
