Vegetable Jalfrezi is a popular, spicy, tangy side dish or curry. Mixed vegetables are stir fried and added to a tomato based gravy. The vegetables are cooked on high heat till a bit crispy but not overcooked. They are then added to a tomato based gravy which is thick. In fact this is one curry which is almost dryish in the sense that there is not much gravy. Quick Roasted Potatoes are crispy on the outside with  soft and fluffy inside. They are ready within 25 minutes as opposed to the oven roasted ones which take almost 30-45 minutes. For this quick roasted potatoes recipe I like to use baby potatoes. These quick roasted potatoes make an excellent side dish, can use them to make a salad or serve them with eggs for breakfast. Malagasy Lasopy is simply a gluten free, vegan pureed vegetable soup. It usually is served with a condiment called sakay and some baguette on the side. Any fresh seasonal vegetables and meat bones are all added in the pot with a generous amount of water. The mixture is first brought to a boil and then allowed to simmer. This allows the vegetables to get cooked and the meat bones to lend the flavour to the soup.
