VIRAL JAPANESE CHEESECAKE

My version of the popular Viral Japanese Cheesecake is easy to make, delicious and amazingly cheesecake like. Make it day before and leave it in the fridge for a big party, make it within a day for sudden parties, enjoy it as summer dessert.

Cuisine International
- 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Biscoff Spread
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 8-10 Biscoff cookies
- 1 tbsp nuts roughly chopped
Add yogurt, maple syrup, cream cheese and Biscoff spread in a mixing bowl.
Whisk it to a smooth consistency. It also will become a bit creamy and fluffy.
Divide the cheesecake mixture between two dessert bowls.
Then insert about 4-5 Biscoff cookies in each bowl.
If the cookies are longer than the bowl then break the cookies.
Insert the broken pieces on the sides. Try and submerge the cookies as much as you can.
Cover the bowls with some cling film.
Chill the cheesecake in the fridge for at least 4 or more hours. Alternately leave it overnight.
Before serving dust the top with some cocoa powder.
Add the chopped nuts.
Serve.
- Add any cookies of your choice. I tried with oatmeal cookies and we liked it.
- Add any nut butter or Nutella. We tried with Nutella and it tasted fabulous.
- Break the cookies into smaller pieces if they are too large or long for the bowls.
- Use good quality Greek Yogurt and not a watery one.
- Can make in a large container or tray for parties.
