Strawberry Yogurt Sherbet is an easy to make, healthy, quick, cooling, refreshing frozen treat. Add the ingredients in a blender or food processor and sherbet is ready within minutes. And the best part is that no refined sugar is used. I like to use either maple syrup or honey.
Add strawberries, maple syrup, lemon juice and yogurt in a blender.
Blend the mixture till the strawberries are crushed and the mixture is smooth.
Serve the sherbet immediately.
Or transfer the sherbet into a freezable container.
Leave it in the freezer till required.
To serve, remove the strawberry yogurt sherbet from the freezer.
Leave it at room temperature for 10 minutes or less if your kitchen is too hot.
Scoop the sherbet into serving bowls.
Enjoy. Can drizzle some balsamic glaze over the sherbet before serving. Tastes really good.
Notes
To freeze strawberries, wash and hull them. Place them on a tray or a container in a single layer and freeze. Once frozen you can store them in a bag or container in the freezer.
Use more honey or maple syrup if the strawberries are a bit sour.
Can use frozen mixed berries. mango, or other fruits.
