Preheat the oven to 180℃.
Take a square piece of parchment paper and crumple it.
Place it on the baking tray.
Arrange the baguette slices around the paper.
Place the chilled brie wheel on the parchment paper.
Cut ¼ inch deep 4-5 lines in the brie.
Turn it about 45° and cut 4-5 more lines
Scatter the thyme over the brie.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
After 12 minutes, you will see that the brie has melted pushing through the slits.
If not bake for further 3-4 miinutes.
Take the baking tray out of the oven.
Immediately transfer the baked brie onto a serving plate or board. I like to leave the parchment paper.
Drizzle the honey over the hot brie.
Add some chopped walnuts and pistachios. Add some red chilli flakes.
At this point sprinkle a pinch of sea salt if you want to.
Arrange the toasted baguette slices, crackers, fruits around the melted brie.
The cheese will stay melted for 15 minutes. After that it will become solid.
Make sure you serve it immediately.
Sometimes I have some leftover. I usually add that to an omelette.
