In the culinary world a mousse is a light and smooth mass in which the main ingredient is cream or egg white or both. Mousse is the French word for foam. Mousse has a melt in the mouth kind of texture and can be sweet or savory. While I’ve not tasted the savory one, I love to make the sweet especially when I have guests over for a meal.
