    Blogging block???        All writers, bloggers experience a block occasionally. Whenever I have a bloggers block, I just find it difficult to even write one meaningful sentence. Yet I know I need to get the recipe on the blog to keep my followers interested. You may say but there are so many things or topics one can write about. True, but sometimes the idea is in the head but the hand will not assist in typing out the words. Many have suggestions like keeping a paper and pencil nearby to jot down any ideas or thoughts you may have.     beat the heat      Extreme weather is some what becoming a norm in the present time.  6 feet of snow in autumn, torrential rains accompanied by landslides and floods, high temperatures, cold gusty winds, cold spells. All this is happening due to pollution, less trees, concrete jungles, thinning ozone layer and so many other factors put together. Usually around Diwali time our apartment gets a lovely cool sea breeze and many a times we have to close the windows so that doors do not bang, vases do not topple over and curtains do not fly out of the window like flags.Sometimes in the evening the breeze makes us feel a bit cold.   • 171. pineapple paleta

    Tinkering in the kitchen  When Niku my son, was home for his break, we bought a lovely orangey looking pineapple. Got excited thinking that it will be so sweet and juicy. We cut the pineapple and  much to our disappointment it was  sour. Couldn’t use it up in a salad as it was too sour. So I just left the pineapple chunks in the fridge. Usually ideas crop up at the most weirdest time. In walks Niku, opens the fridge to look for some fresh juice and instantly we both think of making paletas. I was itching to use the ice pop molds he bought for me so of course the idea got stuck there….. sour fruit, molds, molds, sour fruit. As I was busy…
