MEGA BLOGGING MARATHON – APRIL 2018 #87TH BLOGGING MARATHON THEME: EXPLORE THE FLAVORS – INTERNATIONAL BREAKFAST DAY 11 “Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dine like a Pauper”    Yesterday was a crazy day. I had invited guests over for dinner. I tried posting my recipe for Day 11 in the afternoon and couldn’t as there was no internet. Then I got busy with dinner. When my guests left, I cleared up the kitchen and thought I’d try to post the recipe and still no internet. Usually after a dinner party I find it difficult to fall asleep quickly. Happy Valentine’s Day    What is Valentine’s Day without roses, chocolates and all things cute? Hope hubby is reading this and gets a hint;). So I nearly sat out this theme. What am I talking about? Its the FoodieMonday/Bloghop day. The #115th theme – Awadhi Cuisine was decided by Kriti who blogs at Krispy Kadhai.    I was really in no mood or didn’t have the energy to really do any research on that cuisine. However, eat we all must whether sick or not and I had a huge slab of paneer staring at me whenever I opened the fridge. So, do you get those days when with…

Happy Diwali Wishing all my friends and family a very Happy Diwali. Time is just flying by so fast. Its already Diwali but this time round my kitchen is not busy. You all may wonder why? A food blogger and her kitchen is quiet during the festivities. Well, it happens sometimes. I fell sick during my recent visit to Mumbai and its taking me a while to recover and gain enough energy to toil over a stove. Luckily, I had prepared my October shhhh cooking secretly challenge before I left for Delhi and Mumbai. My partner for the October “Diwali theme” was Avin Kohli of The Yellow Daal and she challenged me to make a Diwali treat using condensed milk and gulkand. Do take time to…
